Don't really need to do the dew!!

Only if advertisements could sell products - the ad agencies would play God. But alas that is not the scenario. And will never be.


It is always the product that sells the product and nothing else. No matter how much rage an ad creates.


So the moutain dew ad was sensational and it did make the Sprite people sit up and work the extra hours and stay up a few nights to make a dig on the original creative ad.


But hey the cola war doesn’t sell cola eithers.


Although the mountain dew ads are most popular with kids, the product somehow doesn’t live up to the expectations.


Mountain Dew is in fact a distorted version of the Sprite. While sprite is a better version of soda. Dew is more sweeter. Make that much more sweeter.


And while we have always been exposed to aerated drinks that are anything but sweet, dew is a little difficult to like the first time around.


And as for me, I haven’t really tried it a second time around as yet. The colour of the drink is quite a put off as well.


So it is okay if you haven’t done the dew. ......
