Young, Smart,Savvy Turk

Well after the various coverages from In-Mumbai to Sahara Samay to Zee....this was the icing on the cake for Mouthshut. CNBC-Could Not Be Covering MS any better!

The programme Young Turks showed fashion designer Sanjay Kapoor of the Satya Paul designer label in the first half. All about clothes, models sashaying down the ramp and colourful ties galore! But what was with the anchor Shireen??- her smile so false and her laughter so forced if I was Sanjay I would have begged her to stop!

Coming to the second half of the show which featured Faisal the CEO of Mouthshut.

After a brief text description about Faisal it showed the smart and savvy CEO entering his cool- looking office and mingling with the staff. So far so good. But it was only when anchor Anita started asking the questions that Faisal came out a winner. Every question was answered in an extremely confident manner so much so that when he said he likes to ’’mentor’’ the young and upcoming I wished I was young!!

The aptly worded questions with more than well defined yet brief replies gave a very deep insight into Mouthshut...how it started from a small company of only three (to 55?) and the kind of complex technology used, , to learning from past mistakes own as well as other dotcoms and finally emerging a WINNER! But why the diplomatic reluctance in answering the one about turnover? Modesty?

CNBC even captured the moment when Faisal checked out his members reviews before purchasing a mobile phone. So much more power to the reviews on MS!

And finally by showing the tech savvy entrepreneur’s family, the show revealed a very different aspect of his personality..but then it would too- what with a stunning looking wife and cute kids.

CNBC displayed some good information on the tool kit and the final rounding off to compare the diverse answers given to the same questions by the 2 Young Turks was indeed entertaining!

And how did CNBC manage to show a wee bit resemblance between Faisal & SRK?

Thank you Mr. Farooqui for not wanting to sell MS short but to look for partners who can make consumers Kings......LONG LIVE THE KING!!
