Review : ’’The Love for Writing.’’ We love something for what we can give it. Anything that comes back is always a pleasant surprise. I wonder if there is any association between love and expectation?? ’’I expect’’ because ’’I love’’ ... lol lol ??? I have bought, sold, distributed, prompted, and forced people to buy ’’Kandisa’’ by Indian Ocean.... because I love the music. I prevented them from creating pirated copies because I felt that the money should go to the artists for creating that beautiful music. I was the one who bought the cassettes which never came back to me because people liked the music. (I am not very rich.) But I just loved it when somebody said that they are keeping the cassette because they like the music. I would buy a new one. It was for personal satisfaction. There is definitely nothing wrong in getting paid for something that you love doing but then one has to wait for it. It does not come suddenly. I wonder how many people have we directed to this website through ’’recommend us’’ option to our friends and family. Or how often do we include Mouthshut in our conversations. I am happy and satisfied that I have a forum where I can express my opinion and where others can access my opinion. I don’t have to write the whole thing all over again. I just have to direct people to the url that holds my review and review of others. Maybe we are being just too hasty in deciding if we are achieving something with this forum or not. Maybe we are just thinking about personal gratification as an objective to be achieved through this forum. We can also think in terms of social gratification. Recently, Government of India banned Yahoo Groups website in India. I tried expressing my opinion at some news sites but realized that they were moderated/censored and would not post my opinion. Mouthshut helped me in venting the anger I had in me. The point here is that Mouthshut respects our opinion. It does not asks for my college degree or my experience before it allows me to post. Where else would you get that freedom to post your opinion. I get my opinion read, rated, and commented by other people. Mouthshut helps me in delivering my social responsibility. Maybe I should pay something back to it...... lol lol For all those who are expecting money, tangible returns out of this portal may consider putting in more effort talking about the value this site adds to the process of purchase decision.
