Mouthshut.com till date 323 reviews about the site by us, to be exact and it is still ticking, this has shown me, you and we all that no matter good or bad but this is how the bond has been so strong between mouthshut.com and us.
I don’t know what provoked Mr. Faisal – CEO to give birth to this unique web site, and please don’t forget that, it has come a very long long way. Mouthshut has proved its potentials in acting like an comprehensive resource for gathering intelligence & information on the web for us regarding movies, books, websites, mobiles, automobiles etc. Mouthshut has been dynamic, very user friendly, which has helped our top experts like our star writers, good writers & quality writers like all of us to express and share our experiences, opinions and information’s, about the products which we use or we come across in our daily life, which has helped many of us in taking right decisions at the right time or you can say we are influenced by the good reviews on mouthshut. And what else we want more knowledge base in abundance in one place.
We cannot deny that it has even helped many of us, who were totally unknown to one another in the web world, but thanks to Mouthshut we can proudly say that we are among the known faces on our mouthshut community and on the web as well, we are meeting likeminded people/friends on our site, who are sitting thousands of miles away from us but still we can relate to them as friends isn’t it. That’s the reason I think so even the response this site is getting form all over the places is over whelming. Even Faisal has to agree to this.
Mouthshut has even opened the marketing opportunities for the consumer industry too, to exhibit their products, as it is working like an interactive web site and resource portal, which is doing good job in promoting their products. I used to criticize Faisal for that, but I have to change my stand, even I would have done the same thing if I was in his shoes, IF YOU WANT TO SURVVE, YOU HAVE TO EAT, the same way I think so Faisal has acted, because Mouthshut won’t survive only on our reviews and comments.
PART II (DARKer SIDE)
And like any other organizations, even Moutshut.com has its own negative shades.
Mouthshut curbs ones freedom of expressions, I don’t know why, I have seen on many occasions some good reviews have been deleted, and some really bad reviews which were fit to throw in the trash, were still been retained on the site to humiliate us, some times I feel Mouthshut is biased towards its members and doesn’t like taking any criticism against it with a flare.
Many members are unhappy with the way Mouthshut functions even with their selection committee, which I think so is not up to the mark, which always brings controversy.
& Today itself I was amazed, on reading a review about Mouthshut posted by our Star writer Itikasharma, which has raised a big question about the confidentiality of the member’s database? I don’t know who is monitoring them, but which has left me thinking like Mr. Jaswant Singh, what if there’s any mole in Mouthshut.com. perhaps only Faisal can answer to that.
Anyways there are many positive and negative things one could find and say about Mouthshut.com.
