I can’t bring myself to give a 5 star rating to Mouthshut.com. Its a good forum for people to come together and share their views but I have found most of the written material here devoid of depth and thought.
Maybe there’s a need for an editorial team to be in place to see what goes up on the site. (I don’t know whether there already is one and if it is then my comment just points to the sorry job they are doing)
That said, I firmly believe a good beginning is half the journey and Mouthshut has made a great beginning.
I have a couple of suggestions - one, a more honest and receptive environment where criticism and comments are not only restricted to a product or service but also the style of the writer. Two, some kind of content management which ensures that the written material on this site adheres to some standard. The editorial team can decide the standard and the community will benefit through aspiring for that higher bar.
I know lots of people will disagree but I’m fine with that since I see this site as an honest exchange of diverse opinions.
