I have decided to write out the wesite that has given me the oppurtunity to express myself. I like the entire idea of product review. Well before I start of this review let me take this oppurtunity, and I know this is the apt oppurtunity, to congratulate Mr.Faisal, CEO, Mouthshut.com, Inc, for this wonderful idea called "mouthshut.com".
Mouthshut.com-the first time I saw this name were behind banglore auto rickshaws. That was about four years ago. The cartoonish way in which mouthshut.com was written on the autos made me think that It was some stupid bogus website. I never bothered to check it out.
In the month of May, 2009, I was chatting with my long time buddy Nithin Jacob, commonly know as NJ and in mouthshut.com his id is xNJx, and as we were chatting I found out that he writes alot and when I told him my interest in writing , he told me, "Vipin, Let me introduce you to this website called mouthshut.com"- now at back of my mind- hey, wait a minute that name sounds familiar....I was thinking....ho yeah! Isnt that the website that I use to think was bogus?!!!!!! Now, what is this guy doing with this wierd website??????? ... I told Nithin, that he was kidding me. He told me to try it out and he send me an invitation.
At first, I was not that impressed by the website, that was just due to lack of understanding of the wesite. Later, I decided to write my first product review and it was about my bike, Honda Unicorn. As days passed by I was alarmed by the respons I got and people started rating the product. I was also impressed by the number of people who read the review. I started to get emails from people who were interested in buying a new Honda Unicorn and I gave them my advice.
I was totaly impressed, this is a bloody brillent website and slowly I started writing. Believe me this website took me off my feet. I was thinking Whar a marvellous idea for a person to start this website.
I started getting people around mt trusted circle. It is after reading one particular review written by Shalu D, another star in MS , about Woodlands shoes that I really understood the benefits that this website can do for consumers. I was impressed at the way by which Shalu got her problem resolved by Woodlands Shoe Company. It was only because of her review about Woodlands shoe that struck a bell on the authorities of Woodlands to replace her heals. she had attached the copy of the review in an email to the customer service of Woodlands and they responded to it, untill then she was having a very bad response from the Woodlands showroom. Now, that review threw light in my thoughts of how beneficail this website is!
I have one small suggession to make. Like My diary, If this website could make another avenue for My Creativity, in which people who do artistic works like cartoons, paintings, sketches etc can scan and exhibit their talents, it would be wonderful.
Well needless to say, I am proud to be a part of this Website.
