I’m sorry, but I don’t think’Trusted Circle’ is a great idea at all! Obviously people’s writing skills differ but I don’t think anyone will write a misleading review intentionally.
I could never understand what’s so great about it even after reading the stuff at’Help Centre’ . I think each review has to be taken at it’s face value irrespective of who has written it.
Basically, I would rather like to trust/distrust individual reviews than the reviewers themselves! Hey, you don’t throw the baby with the bath water, right?
More over, it’s my humble opinion that all these extra baggages other than reviews, ratings and comments, namely trusting, distrusting, point-system, star writer, wish-list etc., don’t add any value to the site.
Lastly, in my view, even rating should better be made anonymous!
And I feel it’s important to avoid member-politics(I read from someone’s 50th review on’General Thoughts On MS’ that sadly, it does exist) and formation of cartels.
