Dev anand was ahead of hi times though he was a graduate from government college lahore, he was very passionate and creative about movies acting and production. his movie teen devian was thought to be a religious movie by many who went to see it.
But it turned to be that the teen devian were kalpana, nanda, simmi grewal. shareef badmash had a very new story for those days i.e., 1973 when this movie was directed by him. the actors were also very popular later on, like hema malini, helen, ajit, jeevan, sujit kumar, hercules and other baddies. it was a patriotic movie where a micro film containg the blue print of a fighter jet developed by the scientists of india had fallen in the hands of the traitors where the market price of the micro film was 7 crore rupees.
Which is nothing compared to todays valuation. a lot of murders were commited to secure the film by jeevan, who happens to be dev anands father. the film is very gripping with good melodious songs, neend chura ke rato men.... couple dances by hema and helen who had aliasses of kiran and carmen. Dev anand was hired by the cbi to locate the film with the help of hema.
The movie comes in a dvd where the sole rights are with shemaroo, who markets the movies of dev, but is selling costlier to its rival moser baer.
