First if all I would like to say the film is lavish in every aspect from costumes to sets to casting everything looks grand every where. Bhansali films are like that only and with every film he is just getting more and more grand.
The actors have preferred brilliantly. Shahid looks like the godly Hindu King and his queen is also truly gorgeous while we get to see her a little because she is heavily covered all the time. anyway deppika performs brilliantly. Ranveer slays as the ruthless khilji, he has given a heavy weight performance as a villian who is madly self obsessed and brutal and thinks only about him self and his wants. he is so cold hearted that he does not even say away from killing his family. like this the movie was going .
so final verdict is, yes you can go and watch the movie to enjoy spectacle and great performance, if not more than you would definetly enjoy it for the first time. Jauhar sence will give you chills.
