Mr & Mrs Smith, directed by Doug Liman stars Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie...
Its got a huge budget (reportedly $100 million) & the expectations are naturally high from such a flick....
so on to the story then...John Smith (Brad Pitt) & his wife Jane ( Angelina Jolie) at first glance appear to be just another American couple ( a very good looking 1 though )..trying to work on their marriage...
But in reality both of them are among the world’s top assasins & have somehow! managed to keep their professions secret from each other!
All that changes when both of them are assigned by their respective companies to kill the same man..Benjamin Danz... they end up interfering with each other causing the target to escape...
before long the 2 realise the truth about each other & a game of cat & mouse begins....Both are given 48 hours by their respective bosses to eliminate the other or face the consequences....
From then on , the viewers are treated to some high strung action scenes (in which Ms Jolie is more than competent)
The end (which I shall not reveal) is somewhat predictable....
All in all this film has all the elements like Humour , Romance, action ....what really sets the screen alight is the on screen chemistry between the lead pair...Brad Pitt delivers a good performance while Angelina Jolie was superb...whether it was action scenes or the ’’intimate’’ moments , she was top notch....
Not much to mention about the other characters(there are barely any)
this film definitely worth checking out...a good ’’timepass’’ flick
