Need an instant upgradation to survive

We all are using mobile wallets from different companies in our daily life. A mobile wallet makes our life easy and convenient and saves a lot of time. After digitization many e-wallet companies came out in the market and advertised massively and a few of them have succeeded tremendously. However, there is one e-wallet that comes from a leading brand but even then most of the people are not aware about its existence. Yes, I am talking about mRUPEE. It is owned by  Tata Teleservices Ltd. one of the reputed company in India. However, they doesn’t have anything  unique to offer.


I am using their services for around 2 years now. When I was  registered on the portal there were hardly enough features on their website. There were only mobile recharges, d2h recharges and utilities bill payments options available. However, now they have covered all the features and functions which any other e-wallet is offering. The concept of mRUPEE is  to provide a platform to the customers to make their online transactions easy, safe & at the same time rewarding as well.  At present they are tied up with all the leading companies and give an opportunity to a user to shop online and to avail excellent discounts.


There are a lot of features and functions they provide through website and app. Customer can load his wallet through debit card, credit card and netbanking. Apart from recharges and bill payments customer also get a feature wherein he can transfer money to any registered mobile & to a bank account. The money transfer to a mobile number is free but transfer to a bank facility comes with a processing fee of around 2-4% depends on the total value. On the dashboard users also get a deals & offers section where they can check the latest discounts and promotions mRUPEE is offering and can get additional rewards.  Recently they are also tied up with IRCTC and provide the comfort of booking railway tickets online. They are also tied up with HP petrol pumps and a customer can pay through his mRUPEE account without any additional charges.


The layout and design of the app and website is an average. If compared with other e-wallets mRUPEE stands nowhere near to them. The layout is still the same as it used to be 2 years ago and it is very difficult to navigate through the site and use the functions. The user interface is unfriendly and takes a lot of time to load and often transactions get declined due to their slow servers. So, to make it a success they must invest in advertisement and in the upgradation of the website and app.


The customer support is available through phone and email. However, the number is not a toll free and customer has to pay as per their calling plan. Customer care can also be contacted them through email.  All Tata companies are know for their highly trained customer support and quick resolution for queries. The customer support is one of the best I have ever experienced
