Did I see aliens?!!

All iz well, all iz well.!

That’s the chant I kept saying to myself after leaving the theatre, mostly making myself not question the whole movie. Well, I wasn’t expecting it to be much entertaining, more of a pass time, but who knew that it can turn one’s brain into mush. Who knew losing a bet can do you more harm, psychologically!

Director Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan, also the scriptwriter, dialogue writer, play back singer, prop and costume designer, VFX supervisor(phew!), is seen fighting for all the types of social enigmas that have been making the news today, or well, not so social enigmas after all. We see him fighting in a total different dimension and not-so-friendly neighbours.

The story is simple; it is about a Lionheart who is fighting the evil. He is a top secret spy who can incinerate a fortress and whole lot of cars with a single shot from his weapon -* Pew* Pew* Pew* -(I need to get me one of those). Later, we find out that he is guardian of the planet. But then comes in the life forms out there, the aliens. They conspire and vow to do away with this too-good-to-be-true warrior. Why they want to kill him? Maybe he is stronger, more fan base, or simply because of his bored-to-death movies.or all of them.

They all do some jiggly light flashing thingies and prepare for their earthly battle. In the meantime, our top secret spy has gone through some time travel and now can be seen prancing on his horse as a king of yore, and showing off his usual fashion style. Seriously, those were eye-popping. Literally. We can see him showing off all his treasure chests filled with shiny yellow stuff, or maybe coins.

This is how the next part of the movie was for me, blank!

The aliens attack, Lionheart is invincible, so aliens take their defeat. Soon enough, the people of his town go mad, and so he knows aliens are back to take their victory. And between all of this there is a princess whom he marries, who is beautiful and keeps pressing his legs in her free time. Pouting dolefully to know if he misses her as much as she does. But mission will always be his ‘first love’.

Oh yes, about the aliens. When Lionheart comes to know that they are going to be under attack he thinks(wow! progress) about how to beat his enemies, with their futuristic weapons and his simple pelt that just have enough weapons to put Batman to shame(I didn’t say that, who was it?). Then his Guru advises him if he can’t go to the future, then better go in the past.

And that is what happens. We see him fighting some monsters. Taking down UFOs in one-on-one combat, striking each other with lightning ray(maybe he is one of them and they have come to take him back, what’s with inhuman powers?) And then, to my, our relief, we see him doing the victory walk.

THE END

Of the movie, but I could not believe I saw aliens wearing glow in the dark costumes, designed straight out of Ramanand Sagar’s mythological series.

The self-proclaimed “most versatile director” has been churning out too much his social propaganda movies at a faster rate. He only makes me think about Robert Rodriguez who wrote and directed El Mariachi, saying he did not star in his own movie because he wanted to be behind the camera. I don’t think so this is the norm that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan is ever going to follow, and knowing that Lionheart 2 is soon to be in theatres near you, I fear I need to move away to a location, far away from a theatre near me.
