WHAT IS IT Remember MSN Explorer...well, if you use this software, maybe you wanna consider MSN 8. OK i’m a yahoo user but I love the idea to integrate various software in one explorer. MSN 8 still integrate the mail client based on Outlookf Express. The invation is that now you can create filters to avoid spam or to organize you emails. An anti-spam tool is also available. According to Microsoft, you basically ’’train’’ the Anti-Spam to recognize what is and what is not a spam. MSn 8 biggest innovation maybe the dashboard. It ’s a sidebar that’s gonna be integrated with the future version of Windows in 2005. the sidebar is removable and can run with any other programs. it gives you an outlook to your mailbox, contacts online, group, news, weather, downloads...
MSN 8 integrates a download manager, a basic version of Picture it§ which functions can be accessed with writing email with a photo, an online track of your bank accounts with MSN Money Plus, an access to Encarta online. The browser itself is not really customizable, the homepage is either msn.com or my.msn.com....the navigation bar however is reducible. BYOA plan/ 10bucks a month / 120 a year WHAT’S WRONG? MSN is based on hotmail which to my mind is the most insecure webmail ever created. Yahoo can give you better for cheaper. use Outlook has a navigator and you have it all. download Intellisync for yahoo to synchronize you datas, add .ink shortcut to launch you programs from the links bar of internet explorer, for 29 bucks a year subscribe to yahoo Mail Plus that allows you to forward you emails, archive you messages in a text-like formats so that you can not only read them with out having to use a specific Mail client but you can also read them using Outlook Express, you got 25 MB for your maiolbox against 10 MB with MSN 8. and yahoo is STABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
