MTDC Mahabaleshwar is spread across 40 acres in green lush enviroment. It is located 2 kms from main market and 1km from the Mumbai sunset point(one can take a walk to the sunset point). MTDC Mahabaleshwar is an ideal place for people who want to stay in peaceful location.
Beware of the inhouse restaurant - PWD restaurant and Sonali Restaurant. Both these restaurants are managed by single management. The owner and management is highly rude and arrogant. Their service is pathetic and food is average types. Don’t ever try chicken as they spoil the taste of it by cooking it shabbily. I would recommend to avoid this restaurant and try something in market or other areas.
Overall a good place to stay except the restaurant and food.
