I have been using MTNL broadband since last 2 years but have been very much disappointed with the speed. I have subscribed to 8Mbps plan and the download speed I get is around 200kbps. The service is worst as the internet connections seems to getting offline at regular intervals.
The customer care provide you the standard solution of restarting your laptop and resetting your modem but even that does not solve the speed issue. Even basic websites such as google take time to open MTNL broadband. This broadband is normally expensive than other local cable internet service providers but the speed and the performance is very mediocre.
