I applied for new Hathway connection in Dange Chowk/Wakad area of Pune. They have charged 850 Rs for installment and 540 Rs advance cheque for first billing cycle. It is already 40 days from then and my connection is not activated. When inquired, customer care guys keep telling(fooling in fact!) that connection will be activated by E.O.D., but no luck ever!
Their customer care service is very pathetic and their technical support staff are bunch of unprofessional people hired for looting customers money. A big NO for hathway. One of my friend has mtnl connection as well.
His experience:- Most of the time their server remains down, so you will not be able to surf the net most of the time.
My suggestion: Don’t give any advance amount to them. Pay the money only when connection is activated(by any chance!).
