MTNL Triband: When we generally hear MTNL may be some of us may feel another Government owned service so cannot be good.
But its not so.
It is the best internet service I have used so far.
It has a scheme for all types of users.
First when I came to know about the service I was not convinced because it did not have any unlimited download scheme. I am a heavy downloader. So I did not want this kind of the internet. But then it started with the Nights Unlimited Scheme. It is known as TRIB_NU. In this we can download any amount of data from 00:00hrs to 08:00hrs
and for the rest of the day we used to get 500 Mb for a month. But now this amount is increased from 500 Mb to 1024 Mb or 1GB from 1st november onwards.
Well it was the only thing I needed.
The speed is great. I sometimes get 30kbps download speed.
The only problem I had was the download restriction. But with NU its solved.
Well for some this may be a problem as unlimited download is from midnight to 8:00AM but there are many download softwares which has a feature in which the computer will shut down after a specified time or if the download is complete.
The only problem is to create a new session to avail the free download. If the session is not created then it gets recorded in to the chargable time.
This is not a real problem as only the router provided has to be restarted at 00:00 and then at 08:00. So actually its not a big deal.
Its the best thing that could ever happen to a heavy internet user like me.
If one has many parallel connection of the number on which the service is taken it might get disconnected when a call comes or if some one tries to make a call.
So I advice you all to take on the number on which less number of call come if have an option.
