MTNL - Worst Service ever.
Firstly, I have subscribed for Triband Combo 795 plan with speed upto 2 mbps. However, I have been getting speed of less than 512 kbps. I have raised multiple complaints by calling customer care and even visited the MTNL Telephone Exchange, however very little action has been taken on the complaint.
Secondly, internet connection goes down very frequently and there is no guarantee whether the broadband will work whenever the connection is turned on.
Thirdly, it’s quite unfortunate to say that MTNL lineman has very little technical knowledge about broadband. They are not even aware that splitter has to be installed for both telephone and broadband connection to work simultaneously. They are only concerned that broadband should start functioning, no matter what the speed should be or whether the splitter has to be setup.
Fourth, there is no centralized customer care for any telephone or broadband related issues. Calls need to be made at multiple numbers – 197, 198, 1500, 1504 for any issues and in case of non-resolution of issues for longer period, they will ask you to contact different personnel for different issues and most of the times, calls at these numbers will keep on ringing and no-one pick up the phone calls.
Please dont go for it. Uneducated old staff.
