Applied for MTNL Broadband via their toll free number on 10 April 2007 and its close to 1.5 months but no-one has ever turned up to provide the connection!!
I did all the enquires from their customer service at the toll free number and also from the local SDO but to no avail. It was typical govt thing with nobody caring why is it getting delayed or where the process is stuck and if you persist then they simply ask you to go to some other officer. How pathetic can MTNL be!!!!
To top it all, once you book your order on the MTNL Sanchar Haat or via toll free number, those ppl have no rights to do any modification or cancel the order! So unless some one turns up to provide you the conection, your order would remain active on their computers, so you cannot place a new one or do anyhting about it......WOW....Isnt it!!!!!
