I installed triband in June and hte service has been superb. The speeds are great, there is some down time in the evenings probably due to heavy traffic but no other negatives other than that. THe lineman came twice to install and check and ensure. the mtnl folks have taken this seriously and seem to be fair on billing , which is also clear and transparent. Unlike the private players, who are controversial on billing issues -- inflated bills are a problem with airtel -- at least in the delhi area.
I wanted to know if being on yahoo chat or messenger is defined as a download in the MTNL Triband plan. Thnaks -- please email your reply to aniljacob@hotmail.com. There is some ambiguity on the terms and conditions -- is staying on chat a transfer of data or is it not, since it is streaming content?
I realize that this may be a vague question but some clarification would really be helpful, especially in the context of VoIP -- either via Skype or Yahoo with voice.
