Before you decide to take an MTS connection, I hope you were lucky enough to read the reviews on mouthshut.com because every single one of them is true. I didn’t read them and I regret it very much.
Snail speed - Even though they claim to have fast speeds, they do NOT. Once you get your data card activated, it’s as though a snail can move faster than the rate at which your page loads.
Terrible customer service - Unfriendly, arrogant people each of who will give you a different response for a single complaint.
Unclear statistics - Net usage statistics is very vague and you get to see only the balance which does not actually help. I had taken the 20GB day/20GB night plan. I did not even get a notification when my day balance was low.
False claims - Their claim is unlimited internet when the plan is actually divided into a day amount and a night amount. My chosen plan gave me 20 GB daytime usage and 20 GB night time usage. You don’t use it you don’t get it. It cannot be transferred either.
This plan is the highest they have, but it would not be enough because Skype/Facetime doesn’t work with it. And anything you try to watch will have to be buffered and re-buffered and again loaded and re-loaded SO many times that it is no wonder the 20 GB runs out in a max of 10 days! And you are stuck with unbelievably slow speeds(the likes of which I’m sure in this age of technology is abhorrent!)
Expensive - Just the dongle costs INR 1300/- and every month another INR 1000/- For a speed booster another INR 100/-
Cancellation headache - Finally you try to cancel the connection and it is so unbelievably difficult.
