This message is to all MTS India datacard users and also mobile users across India. I would rrequest you to read the Pathetic/Unprofessional/Worst customer Service provided by any company. I was using the Broadband Datacard service of MTS for 4 months and was not receiving the speed they offer which was 2 MBPS for a Plan of Rs.799 per month. So I decided to change the Plan from 799 to the lowest available which was 499 as I had reduced the usage. I called the MTS Call Center and informed the Agent to change my Plan and also informed him that I had made a payment of Rs.1760 to the MTS outlet which was due. The Agent took the details and provided me with 2 separate Reference No for the issue raised. Also he informed that the payment will be reflecting in their system in 2 days and data card will be activated in 24 hours. The other issue relating to change of Plan, he informed me that the plan is changed and the changes of which will reflect in your next bill. Firstly, the Datacard was not activated in 24 hours and I followed it up for 3 days and spoke to 3 different agents before it was restored.
Then to my horror I received the bill which had the old plan details and no changes were made to my plan which I had asked for. I then sent a mail to the MTS Online support team providing the reference number and a detail information on the issue I had raised a month earlier and the response was once again suprising the online agent informed that I had called up in April and wanted to change the plan but the call center agent informed me that I had not made the payment and informed me to call back once the payment is done to change the plan. I replied back to the pathetic response that the online agent had given informing them that I was the one who called them to inform that I had made the payment and provided the payment details, invoice number etc. On the same call I also asked the agent to change my plan from 799 to 499. But the sebsequent mails which I received was even more frustrating and made me angry, they never spoke about the change of plan in their mails and only sent me standard responses informing me to pay the bill which was due. I then started receiving calls from MTS Payment team informing me that payment is due.
I explained the payment team that there is an issue related to my bill for which I have raised a complaint and I have not received a response but they said that they have no information of it and they just kept calling me up and started harassing me everyday before I started to stop receiving their calls. Now few days earlier I recieved a call from some advocate in Delhi and he informed me that a case is registered against me for non payment of Rs.1558. And he informed me that if I need to avoid this then I have to make the payment to the nearest MTS Outlet within 30 mins. I told him that there is a complaint which was not resolved he said that make the payment or deal with us in the court. I then sent a mail to the Nodal officer of MTS India, and again I got the same reply with a twist.
Now they are saying that I have not paid the bill for Feb and March for Rs.1760 and therefore the line was disconnected and the total outstanding amount is 1558 for which I had to make the payment. I again sent a mail to the officer and informed her to check the issue correctly as the payment for Rs.1760 was already done in the month of April and the issue is related to change of Plan. No reply has seen come from the officer. I have never seen or heard such kind of Customer Service where the company is only worried about money and not anything else.
I hope that everyone who reads this review should start cancelling their connections as they might face similar issues.
