I used this connection for couple of months and I did make all the payments on times. Now, I am getting phone calls from MTS threatening me for legal action for some outstanding amount. The reasons I am not paying the outstnading amount go like this:
- After 15th September, 2014, I was not at all able to use the service. I made many complaints calling MTS customer care service. I had wasted a lot of my hard earned money and TIME on this. But no one responded to my grievance from MTS end with some promptness.
It was I who had called more than 10 times after which (after around 10 days!) someone visited. He himself saw that speed was less than 0.5 MBPS(512 KBPS) in a case where I am paying for a speed of more than 4/5 MBPS(MTS claim more than 9 MBPS)!
After that I got a resolution that my area does not come under coverage area of MTS! Now, please make me understand, if it does not come under MTS coverage area, why I was given the connection? Is it not a fraudulent behavior?
2. I had to buy a DATA card worth Rs 1000 from MTS which I cant use for any other purpose. So, now since, I have been COMPELLED to disconnect MTS, who will compensate for the same?
I got a bill of Rs 1122 for the month of Sept in a case where I could not use the service towards the end of Sept.
Over and above, the bill for month of Oct was another shocking element! I disconnected the connection at the very beginning of the month and it was disconnected too.
After a few days, I got a call from MTS offering me a "demo" to check if the speed is proper.
Please note, I made it clear over phone that I wont be paying for that period as they themselves considered it as a demo. I did not get proper speed this time also and I again had to call to disconnect the same.
But, surprisingly, I was charged for the entire period! I need proper resolution to this issue before I make the payment of the outstanding amount (Rs1729).
