I got MTS MBlaze with my Acer laptop for a discounted price around 2 years ago, I think at half the price. The lure of "half the price" has led to a feeling of me banging my head against the wall every time I go online. "Upto 3.1 mbps"? HA HA HA. Biggest joke EVER! MTS MBLAZE is the purest form of refined crap as far as USB broadband connections are concerned. 100% pure best quality marketable crap.
Had I known that by "upto 3.1 mbps" they meant "upto 300 kbps(download speeds of 30-40kbps)(and I am exaggerating) at all times with the exception of 512 kbps maybe for 5-10 minutes(accumulative) at night", I wouldve never had actual pleasure in writing this horrendous review.
Customer Care? What care? and for them- what customer? 8 out of 10 times the call never connects. Out of two times maybe one call will really matter, and once they have lodged the complaint, wait for another week for them to call u back only to be asked "yes sir, so what is the problem?"
DO NOT BUY MTS MBLAZE. DO NOT. The only reason I am using it is cuz I bought it and now am stuck with it. Learn from my mistake and dont buy it, also the 999 unlimited pack? ITs got a total cap of 30gb with 12gb (not sure about it now) of "Upto 3.1mbps" speeds after which its even slower than what it is, so slow that u will never be able to use the remaining 18gb CDMA speeds(hence unlimited).
VERDICT:
For the Casual Surfer: Dont expect immediate opening of pages at all times. Do NOT expect fast speeds at all times, expect super slow browsing speeds. YOUTUBE? HA HA HA.
For the Gamer: Lags at times, not too horrible a lag though.
For the Downloader: Forget it. Mblaze is not even an option.
Recommendations by experience: Photon. More expensive but service is smooth as butter.
