Reading today’s headlines shocked me, when I heard about the bubbling VJ , commiting suicide.
What a tragedy!
Young, bright, dynamic successful people (talking careerwise) with their whole exciting life ahead of them, commiting a cowardly act like suicide just escapes my wildest logic.
I can never comment on depression etc, but I still cant fanthom one taking these extreme measures
in the name of romance, marriage etc.
I had seen this VJ personally a couple of times and was totally floored by her sophisticated, charming looks and more than that her sweet gentle smooth talk.
Surfing past the channels on TV , everytime I saw Nafisa hosting this stupid repetitive programme, she had my attention for a few fleeting moments with her lively presentation. HouseFull was almost synonymous with her name.
She was undeniably one of my very few favourite VJ’s .
She did not have that halo ring of fakeness howevering around her, unlike most of the
VJ’s, we see on MTV or channel V.
Apart from VJing she did pack in a full fledged all round career in her short sweet life.
All said and done, may her soul rest in peace.
