In the sheer competition between music channels Mtv has ofcourse taken the lead. It has been a channel that always comes with new but ORIGINAL ideas. While channel [V] is always copying some or the another concept.
Also what makes it popular is its Vjs. The Vjs of channel [V] like nauheed, shaorukh, the sify a guy and the guy from hip hip hurray [sorry I cant remember their names] are nothing in comparison to cyrus [both of them], mini, maria, nikhil etc. Moreover they come up with new ideas quite frequently like Mohabbatein the Mtv ishytle during the Valentine period and many others.
Also the girl Vjs are very cool and their outfits are excellent while the ones of [V] wear clothes as though they are going to buy vegetables. The male ones are also better than their rivals.
