Well, I remember MTV when it first came out, like its name it actually play some music video. Right now theres nothing by rap and real world on. Just how many version of real world can there be, we might never know. I do recommended mtv.com for the music fanatics. Apart to all the useless program MTV created to poison our next generation, I find MTV.com actually contain useful information, sweepstakes and free music stuff. Like what they say, Apple dont fall too far from the tree, its true in this case as well. The program you see on MTV is also promoted on MTV.com, except you get the option of skip through everything to get to the stuff you want to see. Also, MTV is filled with nothing but teeny-pop music and rap. So MTV.com only talk about that style of music as well.
Hmmm, as far as web site goes, the homepage of MTV.com is not so bad, theyve removed some banner from previous year and have organized their page a lot better. As you get to the other pages, it gets a little more annoying, they have the whole section on the top separeted into their own banner filled with their logo, menu, search, and specials. They load up a lot faster now because they got rid of many flash sequence that used to be on MTV.com. Now they cut down the size on it and its not only faster but also less error.
If you like this type of sites, I would also recommend VH1.com, which is almost like its twin in terms of design and content. Except MTV.com has black background and VH1.com has white background. Except on VH1.com you could play a game called rock and roll jeopardy which is a take off of the popular game show jeopardy except the topics all involve rock and roll.
If you wonder why VH1 and MTV has grow to be so similar, its because VH1 has been brought out by the people that owns MTV.
As Im rating this, I realize MTV that Im referancing to is from the US, the European version of MTV is a lot better with different market. Ive never seem the European version but heard in comparison they are a lot better than the one in the US.
