The movie is another one from Anees who is famous for movies like Welcome etc. Mubarakan is all about twin brothers one raised in India and one abroad. One raised by Uncle(Baljeet)and another one by Bhoaa(Jeeto). One with turban and one without. See how simple it was for me to differentiate the characters. Twins are played by Arjun and yes we also have Anil kapoor who is again chachu. Karan and charan the twins are all grown up and their respective family is looking for the best bride here is where Athiya(Binkle)comes in. Binkle born and brought in London seems to be very traditional. Charan. Arey Punjab wala is flown to London to check out Binkle, Charan is on love with Nafisa(Neha Sharma). Karan is in love with Sweety(ileeana). Charan tough in love with Nafisa has a soft corner for Binkle, Charan since he loves Nafisa and as per plan by kartar(Anil) Binkle family breaks the ristha stating Charan is a drug addict, cause of this there is fight between Jeeto and Baljeet
Karan is engaged to Binkle and then the whole drama unfolds, wherein everyone Nafisa n her family, Karan/Charan n his family, Binkle and her family. Every plan Kartar singh has goofs up and leads to more confusion.
Man! It was so tiring typing this, could you imagine me watching it on the big screen and wondering what writer has taught while writing this movie.
There are plain humour, nothing that makes you laugh, yes there are some scene that would make you smile but not laugh.
All the actors are OK, Anil is the reason I watched this movie and yes he delivers to a poor script. He is all alive and pumped may it be his comic timing or emotional scene. Arjun has still a long way to go to catch up with his chachu.
There is nothing much to say about the remaining cast.
Google song is peppy but others sounds the same. Background music is loud as we see in comedy movies
95% of the movie is shot abroad, nothing to say much about Cinematography other than few scene in the song.
This movie does come any close to twin comedy movies like Judwa cause of the weak plot.
Will never recommend by family and friends to watch it on big screen and waste their hard earned money.
On that note disappointed Raga Signing off
