I had visited Mudumalai a month ago. I had stayed at Jungle home A small cottage Near the Mudumalai Forest. It is a very beautiful place .The people there are very friendly.
The food they serve is home made and hygienic.
The rate they charge is quite reasonable.

They give unlimited food at this rate. Vegetarian as well as Non Veg food is included The chilly chicken they made was excellent. and also the Chicken grave.
There is a river which flows near Jungle home ( 10 Mins walk from the place) We can even have a bath in the river. There was not even a singe person near the river so you can have total privacy.
Jungle home also have a double room and a family room. The family room has 4 cots which is very use full for a family with 2 big kids.
Every room has a emergence lamp which gets on automatically when the power goes off. So power cut is not a problem, .
They do not use Generators because they like to be friendly with the nature. To avoid Sound pollution generators are not used. All rooms are provided with a mosquito coil on request.
This is a place where people can enjoy their weekends away from the crowd.
