I don’t know how many of you know the word Muggle itself. Unless you are reading Harry Potters quite a bit.. you may not. By the way, MUGGLES are none else than us! Non wizards and Non witches.. People who don’t know MAGIC!
Mugglenet is only for Harry Potter fans.. Did I say fans? I meant Harry Potter Maniacs. I was proud to be one.. But after checking this site, I am nowhere in madness compared to other inmates!
What does this site offer?
mmm.. Difficult to answer. Simply everything related to HP. It is really interesting if you read Harry Potter and liked it. Otherwise, sheer useless place to visit. It contains the latest newsbits on HP novels (I learnt from here that new HP is named after the half-blood prince. I learnt that HP – 3 is the number one movie with largest number of blunders!!).
Other stuffs there includes some trivia quiz.. I became mad answering them? I don’t think even JK Rowling could answer half of them. (like “When did the Goblin Revolution start?”)
Most interesting part is the fan-fiction session. The fans elaborated/foreseen the HP parts.. Quiet imaginary pairings.. Professor Snape would be the last person to get paired with Ms.Hermione… And there they were.. Romancing in the Portions Classroom! Some flicks are bit over the board for an Indian reader. I was wondering when could I think in this weird way!!
And most of the mugglenet.com members are teenagers! That was awful!
Last bit.. I heard that many believe that Harry Potter is an attempt to bring the reign of Satan by popularizing black magic. And is against god! The mugglenet publish the mails from the believers, and they are in the “Wall of Shame”! I really wonder how the minds work!
So, my friends are asking.. Why I spend time checking out this site? Ya, we need to be MAD atleast for sometime or for something in life! And this is really an innocent way to be mad! :)
