I was free as for sunday a holiday n my pals and me deicided to go in for Mugal-e-aazam . having seen the movie earlier some 8-9 yrs back when I was a kid I did remember most of trhe movie but what I didn’t recollect before seeing movie were the dialogues ...actually the best part of the movie . movie start with shahzhahan akhbar n darbar and then u see akbar walking in sun barefooted to beg for a son form GOD . next movie rolls around akhbar’s son brought up in palace n taking life for granted and akhbar sending him off the boy to battle ground for being brought up , so that makes him more mature to sit besides akhbar later in life . As for the whole movie the dialogues are the best stuff Akhbar n son Salim arguing about the love of Salim Anarkali and between Anarkali n Akbar , they are simple superb . A cool blend of urdu the tongue of mughals n hindi makes the dialogues worth listening like the one ’’ HUM APNE BETE KE DHADHAKTE HUE DIL KE LIYE HINDUSTAN KI KISMAT NAHIN BADAL SAKTE ’’are really good . Through the whole movie I just sit there not even talking for a glimpse so not to miss a single line ...now u can judge how worth is the movie . About the music I sould say is really good especially the song ’’ JAB PYAR KIYA TO DARNA KYA ....’’ ’’ TERI MEHFIL AZMA KAR HUM BHI DEKHENGE ....’’ ’’ ZINDABAD ZINDABAD AA MOHAUBBAT ZINDABAD ....’’ ’’ MOHAUBBAT KI JHOOTHI KAHANI PE ROE ....’’ however movie ends in a sacrifice n kept us thinking for a while does power and prestige really matter more or the love is better . we kept thinking and the topic got more n more complex . Movie actually shows powerful Akhbar separating away Ankarkail n Salim for the pride of the country but is that actually right ....? Well I will advice you to see the movie light headed and don’t carry the plot to your heart . Its a complete family movie packed with good music for you to enjoy .
