Hey,
I m frm the 2005-07 PgeMba batch...Havin graduated frm St Xaviers college, Mumbai with economics as my major. I found it very difficult n hard to adjust to the system, the culture n people at MET..but now in my 2nd sem..i have adapted myself n I m learnin n tryin to make the most of wt I have....
Hmm....let me highligh the plus points of MET..Good infrastructure...comfy classes ( the gurls always argue with the guy with respect to the Acs n fans) , decent canteen, good library with many good books, our own personal laptop with Wi-fi system, not to forget that MET is located in Bandra n Candies n Hershe bakery aint far off...
Must say, v have some really good profs..not exaggeratin... V have Prof Johson for Economics, Prof Chopde for accounts, Prof Max, for e-commerce, Prof Ramkee for Marketin.... all these profs are amazin...They even have written their own text books...V get to learn so much frm them....just listenin to them is an eye opener....
Though not all profs are good... n its very irritatin when u manage to reach on time for the 8.30 lec only to find out that its cancelled....Bad management....no discpline...Students sometimes behave they in KG not PG ( includin me heheh)..
V have our annualo fest called MET Utsav..though it aint anywhere near MALHAR of Xaviers ( I still haven got over Xaviers u see)... its decent.. V have workshops. sports, dance, fashion show n some really sumptous fare laid out for 2 days.....
Durin 26/7 when v were stuck in college. coz of the floods...Mr. Page (our director) our director..saw to it that all the students that were stayin back in college (nearly 500) were provided with food. N t shirts...All the gurls were provided comfy accomodation in the VIP rooms....All the students were well taken care of By Mr. Page n our Profs like Prof Venkat, Mrs. Tandon, Prof. Kochawara...
Just wan to tel u that, in MBA ya marks aint imp..wts imp is the learnin n growth that must take place.. so u maybe a Bajaj or MET..its all upto u Buddy...
