This is Dakshata. (Ex- METian) (MCA - placement officer). Students of MET (Hitesh, ameya, Siddhartha) are giving comments on MET’s ICS (MCA) and the system at MET . I was with MET for almost 3 yrs.
I would like to share my experience at MET. Best place for student to learn.. get well disciplined enviornment. But as we all know .. no one at student level likes discipline and hence you dont like the person teaching you that. In MET , it happened the same. Students never used to like the discipline by Mr. Apte. Let me tell you that, if Mr. Apte would not have been at MET, definitely the student qualities would have been low.. I can say it because I have seen it in many colleges.. (undisciplined behaviour)..(cigar in one hand and a girl in other)..Thanks to Apte sir for maintaining the discipline.
Mrs. Sunita Mahajn, Principal, MET’s ICS, a nice and sweet person but the only disadvatage people take , is of her age. She tries to help students on all the levels but students take it in wrong sense and start commenting about her behaviour. All her decisions are normally in favour of benefit of students.
All the faculty members( including me) have taken all the efforts to share our knowledge with the students at all the levels. But if the students quality (coming from Management qouta, sifarish from a person, a person having less than 50 % in HSC) is poor, to what extreme , the faculty efforts are useful??? The faculties are definitely eligible according to AICTE and University with first class in UG / PG levels.. So no issues about their knowledge and their efforts.
The non teaching staff in MET is the best, without whom college students will be helpless. Non teaching staff helps them in all the aspects.
Finally , in placements in MET , Excellent according to me , for the students maintaining their performance in academics but also we tried our level best to offer atleast one job to each and every candidate with no. of opportunities. (on campus/ off campus)
Those who have not got a job, they are the once responsible for this situation in their own life. MET has tried to get them job at all the levels.
Finally, the conclusion from my side is that, MET .. a best place to be an MCA with excellent teaching, well discipline and a helping enviornment.
Request to all the viewers to judge MET not only on students comments but also other comments from Ex- employees, ex-students.
