I’m from 2003-06 batch of MCA frm MET’s ICS. Lemme share my experience@MET with you.
Apart from the amazing infrastructure which everyone can see..I think most others from my batch wud agree with me when I say..we had the best set of professors! All very well qualified...they made their subject very interesting..and even thou it seemed too much to handle during certain sems..P&C and OT 2be precise :-) , eventually it was all good.
Some of those profs have left due to personal reasons..but I hope the quality is maintained. And its not always about teachers..its also about hw much interest we take in the subject!
One of the highlights for us was Tech@MET, the first ever technical fest of MET, organised by our batch with the help of our profs, Principal & others. All of us worked as one big family fr 3-4 mths to make it a success!
As fr other fun activities, we have sports days, picnics & treks!
As for placements, I wouldn’t say placements are great but well, they are getting better. MET till recently was not known by most people. Even tday, many companies have just ’heard’ of MET. Comparing it with VJTI is really not fair...and if u r comparing then also compare the professors, the facilities & the marks! That would be 3 against 1!
To sum it up..its one the best institutes for MCA..there is good n bad everywhere but its your attitude that makes all the difference!
