No match for supercyclone of Orissa

Imagine the supercyclone of 1999 to have occured in Mumbai.Well, i am damn sure that, with such a dense population & high rises, Mumbai had been in rubbles.Maybe almost half of Mumbai would had vanished in the map of India.I am sure that Mumbai would have lost half of its population & almost half of its high rises would have been destroyed. If someone would have seen the devastation of Orissa after the supercyclone of 1999, then these natural monsoon disasters would have been no surprise to him/her.It’s for sure that lots of peoples had died in this monsoon disaster & a lot of people became homeless, but surely the monsoon disaster of Mumbai was no match for the supercyclone of Orissa.I mean to say that, one should write reviews on’supercyclones’ too if natural hazards are concerned.Heavy water logging & losses would have been avoided if there would had been a proper drainage system in Mumbai & if the Meterological centre would have detected the disaster early. It’s obvious that with such huge traffic & population, there will be a lot of casualties, once the rain starts. Thus Mumbai should have been better geared up for that.I know that a lot of writer would slam me for this review but every one should realise that Precaution is the best cure for natural hazards like rainfall, scorching summer hit, harsh winter. They should also realise that there is no prevention against earthquakes, supercyclones, etc. Thus people should not make much hype regarding the monsoon disaster of Mumbai.I welcome comments on this topic.you all are free to slap or reward me for this gesture against the monsoon disaster.
