Mumbai, Bombay, Bambai, etc it is the land of dreams, the land of culture, the land of success, there are hundreds and lakhs of things to say about this city but still one cannot actually feel it except when he has travelled once to this city of dreams, I am fortunate enough to have spent almost all my life in Mumbai Approximately 21 years and I’ve grown with it each day and each night.
Well for me Mumbai is like a heartbeat which will never stop and which will never sleep, get up in the morning and visit the Marine Drive for its spectacular view and visit it again in the night to see the lovely queens necklace thats the magic of Mumbai. You name it and you have it but personally speaking my favorite place will always be Marine Drive which should be called as the 8th wonder of the world.
I simply can’t write paragraphs on Mumbai because it just won’t fit hence I will put it in words...
Once you are in Mumbai you will see everything starting from...
schools, universites, libraries, swanky offices to old offices, gardens, parks, zoos, restaurants, hotels ranging from 3 to 5 star deluxe, single thatres, multiplexes, I.T. parks, commercial comlexes, shopping malls, aquarium, beaches, old railway stations, airports, local trains, lodges, guest houses, dance bars, stock market, political houses, the very famous bollywood or filmcity, studios, temples, mosques, churchs, hospitals, clinics, local bazaars, dhobi ghat (cleaners paradise) :-), police stations, mills, discos, pubs, taxis, rickshaws, our very own hawaldars, BEST buses, roadside delicaies like Pav Bhaji, Bhel puri, pani puri, misal pav, usal pav, zunka bhakar, and then ports, clubs, laboratories, industries, factories, markets, galis, chor bazars, lovers points, bandra bandstand, chowpatty (juhu and girgaum), NGO’s, counsulates, festivals, riots, slums, grey market, playing grounds, swimming pools, go-karting, modellings, fashion shows, Page 3, night life, booze, drugs, yo mans, beggers running around foreigners, robbers, sports bike clubs, tatooing parlour, gaming parlour, beauty parlour, street racing, marathons, floods, water shortage, electricity shortage, bhais, gangsters, encounters, Chief ministers, cheap movies, night shifts anti social activities.............................etc, etc, etc....
Also there is a lot of love, life, space, freedom, money, pleasure, hard work, succeess, failure, experience, truth, culture, tradition, violence, everything in one city, plus there is more,
Tata, Birla, Ambani, Singhanias, Bachans, Britishers, Thakreys, Shah Rukhs, Urmilas, GOVINDAS, Swamis, ’Ds’, Chottas, Motas, Tendulkars, NRIs..........etc etc etc...
