Call your mummy, call you daddy, call your brother, call your friends, call your spouse. Yes all of you can actually watch a movie together without feeling embarassed or disgusted. No skin show, no sizzling bodies...just pure entertainment.....hardcore laughter.
With Kamal Hassan ruling the scene and Singeetham Rao (Pushpak fame) handling the show, you can expect nothing but the perfect culmination of performance and story-line with a crisp presentation.
The movie revolves around an interesting personality who is called Mumbai Xpress although his actual name is Avinash (Kamal Hasan).
The name Mumbai Xpress is due to the fact that he is as fast as an express train. He rides the bike everywhere but a straight road. He prefers revolving with the bike for a circus item known as Well of Death. Everything is simple until he is approached by a funny criminal(vijay raaz) for a kidnapping.
The real show and confusion begins now with a series of events one after the other creating a continuos flow of madness and laughter.
You simply cannot come out of the theatre without a laughter-stricken stomach ache. The fantastic and finely etched dialogues are too witty to handle. They do remind of Chachi 420, but this one goes a step further.
Revealing the story would be killing the fun. Honestly it is not possible because there is no proper story, but the consolidation and mixing of characters and situations.
It is more of a situational comedy. Manisha koirala in a small role leaves her identity and she looks impossibly thin and well-figured after a long time.
Other actors including Om puri and Saurabh shukla contribute to the fun and frolic effortlessly. The best part being that there is no distraction in terms of songs or melo-dramatic chaos.
The message is loud and clear. Just have a lovely time and gain the extreme pleasure of movie-viewing.
It has been made for all you guys out there who believe that movies are meant to entertain and drive you crazy rather than preaching and educating.
