I am not a Kamal Hasan fan, and this movie did nothing to make me one. In fact, quite the contrary! Kamal Hasan is not Amitabh, and its time he thought of quitting. I would have enjoyed this movie so much more had he been replaced with Akshay Kumar or someone younger. Now for the plot.
The only reason I watched this movie was that I was starved for a few laughs. It does not have a story, not anything to remember it by, except for Om Puri. I found even the first words that he uttered to be hilarious. He has become one of my favorites in a comic role. Throw in Paresh Rawal, and you are bound to have a big entertainer. Manisha Koirala as Om Puri’s mistress is okay.
There are some really funny moments, and if you are a Govinda fan, then go ahead and watch this movie for a few laughs. But do not expect anything more than that! And yes, let your mind take a rest!
