This was by far the funniest Bollywood movie of this year, actually Hungama was hilarious as well. You know I am not writing this review to layout the detailed plot of the movie & discuss it’s ’’problems’’ and errors, unlike others. Seriously what’s up with that! I thought the idea of a review is a general review of the movie, just to give fellow reviewers an idea of what to look for and not giving away the complete plot. I could be wrong here, maybe you guys out there do like knowing the storyline & the ending, but from my perspective it basically mars the whole experiece.
Well, Munnabhai MBBS is a super-fun and absolutely hilarious movie. Sanjay Dutt gets 5-stars as Munnabhai, a gangsta with a heart of gold & the movie would be incomplete without Arshad Warsi. Not only is he cute, he is the perfect tapori sidekick of Sanjay Dutt. Gracy singh plays Chinky, Sanjay Dutt’s love and I can’t think of anyone else to play that role. She is pretty like the girl next door and fits her role as the doctor very well.
Overall this is a great movie. It was very refreshing to see a Hindi comedy movie with original comedy that actually makes you laugh. I would say, go watch this movie cause it’s a total paisa vasool. It’s such a good mix of laughter & compassion, a complete feel good movie. The acting is wonderful, not one actor sucks according to me and I guess that could be due to a talented director.
