How can it be so very easy for the director to make us laugh like crazy in the first half and make us all quiet, with wet eyes, in the latter half of the SAME movie?
This is one of those movies which, currently, top my list of favorites. I personally dont laugh or cry at any movies. I consider silly, the fact that people actually get emotional watching certain movies. But, Munnabhai is truly SUPER in ALL aspects.
Right from the very first scene you begin to laugh and this goes on till almost interval. During interval, you can see people calling each other ’’Mamu’’, the famous word from this movie (while I`m writing this review I can hear my colleagues who are calling each other MAMU..haha) or talkin abt d funny scenes. Everyone has this smile on their face. Isnt` that enough to make a movie hit. How many of those movies can actually make one smile anyways? Munnabhai does. And the credit goes to Sanjay Dutt (my all time favorite) and Arshad Warsi. Yea, Munnabhai makes you cry too with certain scenes.
I`d love to go for this movie again and again. ITS A HIT and a MUST SEE.
