I think many like me are waiting for the next sequel of munnabhai mbbs..
lage raho munnabhai.. hai na..
what to tell the film was only like that ..
it had came at a time when the comedy had just dried up from the films.
or it was the cheap type of comedy where u have to put efforts to laugh..
and it used to be just jokes with hidden vulgarity....
i still remember..
it was the semester exams of my engineering degree and in night from 1 to 4 am we had seen it on pc.
and after that the news had spread like fire and till morning 9 all had seen and had became fan of the new supercharacter on indian movie screen..
the MUnnabhai..
munnabhai aka Murali prasad sharma..(he.he..he...) a small time rowdy
from a small place family where he fears his father (Sri Hari prasad sharma...) so much that to hide his inablility to fulfill his dreams , he falls into lies and has to create a whole setup of Lies around him.
and then his father discovers an old link with the dean of a medical college and tries to negotiate his marriage..
and here starts a series of Laugher and Tears in succession....
and as the avid audiance u go thro the Ups and Downs of emotions with the good enough story teller Rajkumar hirani... director of the film...
the film adds new Flavour and leash of life to comedy and indian cinema......
the film gives a Reincarnation platform to many a dying or so far hidden talents..
1 . Boman Irani as Dr. J dot (.) Ashhana(as he calls himself and impress so much acting as a real Dr. professor he puts the life in the character..
on the other hand as a frustrated Dean and father with his Laughter therapy he is sure to cure u from boredom and touch ur funny bones...
Arshar warsi as Circuit...
it was his rebirth..
his comic timings and sense of comedy with a sincerity involved as assistant of munna was very impressive...
i think everybody wants a friend like circuit...
Sanjay dutt himself shows his acting skills rather thought suitable only for serious bhaigiri and action so far... shows his sensible face perhaps after Saajan..
kurush deboo as Dr. rustam who is a vicim of munnas mischive looks fun to watch..
yatin karyekar as the chronic patient anand banerjee whom munna heals with love and care seems impressive too..
what else...??
the movie incorporates Cabre, love song, and the best part a motivational song who tells young boys to come out of heart break is really impressive..
" Sapna toota hai to dil kabhi jalta hai... haan thoda dard hua par chalta hai..."
( when dreams shatter, it do pains, but lets move ahead in life forgetting all....)
In all, a good movie with no wrong social message......
after all not many hindi movies are remade in as many languages as Tamil, telugu, kannada.. .....
a Dream role suits to veteran aged actors...
who have not watch it yet....
Great movie na...???!!!!!!!
