Munnar- a place of tourist interest.

During the Christmas vacation of 2014, we had a great luck to travel to Munnar Hill Station. Munnar is a town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. Munnar is situated at around 1, 600 metres above sea level, in the Western Ghats range of mountains. It was purely a family trip and it was tedious.

Due to the hair pin curves, kids had vomiting tendency. They vomited at times. If neglecting this, the trip was really a good one. We stayed for one night and the climate was very cold at night. But by 10 am it became normal. We enjoyed a great deal in the rose garden, mattupetty dam, Eravikulam National Park etc. The time at Tata Tea Museum was worthy. We could see the tea leaves finally turning into fine tea powder. The authorities of the museum gave a valuable information that mixing black tea with sugar and milk, makes it bad.
