The beauty of this hill station is worth describing.
This was my first place of visit on our honeymoon trip. We had heard a lot about this place from many people and had also seen some beautiful breathtaking images of this place on the net. That is why we thought of going to this place.
WE visited this place in March that is just a week after our wedding. Hired a private car from Cochin to this place which was arranged by one of our relatives. The trip was very exciting . All along the way we got a wonderful view of tea plantations. After a lunch break set out to see some places near to our hotel. Some places are really worth watching. But if you take a list of the places to see in Munnar, from the hotel You will find a big list. but actually there are very few very good ones. Some are OK, and some are not even worth visiting.
The National Park, is very good landscaped garden. Worth place to remove memorable photos. Matupetty Dam is also worth watching places.
Echo point is another good place where you can have a wonderful time to spend. There is a place from where you can go on a speed boat. Lovely drive...you will go Zoooooming around in flat 15 mins. But I bet you will have a nice time here.
Top Station is also a good place with a good scenic background. Those interested in photography will definitely have a nice collection of photos after visiting this place.
Tata Tea Estates are all around the place. And you can definitely carry a pack of tea powder and some tea spice masala to add to your tea too from here.
You get good carrots to munch on your way.....but language is a problem here. People generally speak nly Tamil. Very few people will be able to communicate in English or Hindi.
Nice place to visit for your honeymoon. VERY Cool and Romantic too(not to mention)...
