I had tried a few of the regular dhabhas on the Delhi Murthal stretch and has recently been to Haveli at Murthal. first, ensure you are at the original Haveli - the one that is part to Karnal, Jalandhar franchise. you can easily get connect with the several similar sounding / prefixed / suffixed entities. while going towards karnal, after you cross Amrik dhabha, this is on the left handside - you wont miss it.
Haveli seemed better placed to manage crowds.
Definitely better than couple of the dhabhas that come before Haveli - Ive eaten at Gulshan, Amrik, Ahuja, Pahalwan and Neelkanth as well. Haveli is definitely among the better of the lots. in places like this. I generally ask the waiter - if he sounds half knowledgeable, follow what he says and trust your instinct!
So paneer always has to be there. I love the tandoori paranthas-prefer it to tawa - that too is a must. only disappointing note probably was dessert - not much variety - probably they were sold out at 3 pm on a lazy Sunday!
service and serves were excellent- would definitely go back soon!
