I recently visited Murud third time. Last time I had stayed at Golden Swan resort which is a great resort BTW. This time Golden Swan was not available so I booked in Sand piper resort.
I will not recommend this resort to anyone with family as.
This resort has not been made child friendly, At places there is no railing on stairs and entry to lunch room from cottages is very weird, takingyou through kitchen.
There are lot of cats roaming around the resort, terrorizing the kids. my kids were very scared. One of the cats jumped inside the room from ventilation whole at top. My kids got scared to death.
Food is nothing what site talks about. Its simple Indian food with one chicken and one fish dish.
Their web site talks about Children park but when we enquired, manager sheepishly said that it is to be made. This is cheating.
There is a swimming pool which is manageable but not very clean.
You have to take your vehicle for going to even nearby distance as it is located on high hill and walking uphill with kids can be challenging.
Uphill Road leading to resort is marrow and not good. Its risky to drive on that road with such slope.
Room structures are weird, unsafe for kids
I had one living room and one bed room and only bed room had AC. funny
no garden, plants or greenery maintained.
Overall Its quite pricey and very little value
Strongly recommend not to go there.
