Sanjay Gupta is one of the finest talents that India have ever witnessed and after KAANTE, the master man Comes up with ’’MUSAFIR’’.Musafir is one of the stylish films of Indian Cinema, the shooting hasnt been done in SWISS or CANADA but Sanjay gupta has done the whole movie it india but gave it an international feel.’’AADMI MUSAFIR HOTA HAI HERO’’i m saying that but sanjay dutt says to ANIL bhai.MUSAFIR is not like a common yash chopra movie(i m not showing disrespect to yash uncle movies)but it is a different from this main stream cinema.
STORY (BOLE TO KAHANI RA MAMU)
Musafir is a story of LUCKY(anil kapoor)who takes away 25 Lakhs rupees of a drug lord(BILLA or SANJAY DUTT) but koena mitra takes money from Lucky.And then Billa send him on a mission to GOA to get 25 lakhs from VAKOCHAO(shakti bhai).HE goes but TIGER(aditya pancholi) a policewala, is after him every time but he still gets money from VAKOCHKO but next day Tiger comes to the hotel where Anil was staying and then ANIL keeps the bag in a taxi and looses it Ultimately.So, what happens next, will BILLA forgive him?(how can u expect forgiveness, i told u this is not a YASh chopra movie)Anil kapoor then enters into a contract with SAM(SAMEERA REDDY) and they both take 25 lakhs from Mahesh(sam’s husband) and then After some DISHUM-DISHUM they pay the money to BILLA but the end Billa kills Tiger and gives them the whole money(Why on earth BILLA give all money to lucky and sam, remember for that money he came from bombay to goa on bike, the ending is too unrealistic)
PERFORMANCES(BOLE TO ACTING RE)
BILLA:Sanjay dutt shines in the role of BILLA, he gets the best lines in the movie and his performance will be rated as one of the best of all times(his role is about 45 minutes but it is pleasure to see him every time)His shirts, lockets, rings, jackets are very STYLISH and will become a fashion in days to come.
LUCKY:Musafir belongs to ANIL kapoor and his performance is one of the best of all times, he may not have got the best lines in movie but his UNSHAVED LOOK, COLOURED HAIR and Expressions puts him ahead of any other actor in the movie.
TIGER:Aditya panchsoli returns on SCREEN after a long time in a big role and he does complete justice with role.Many people might have thought that he wasnt the right role but he proves every one wrong.His look is very good.
SAM:Sameera reddy has a great body but her acting is far more superior than her body the actress comes very late in the movie but she is FIRST-RATE.
MAHESH:He has wasted many chances by doing movies like RUN, PLAN but this time is BRILLIANT.There are many people who told that a director cant act but mahesh is the best example to prove them wrong.
DIALOGUES, CINEMATOGRAPHY, COSTUMES ETC
Dialogues are fresh(never heard before) and raw and will appeal to MASSES.Cinematography is SUPERB, the shooting hasnt been done in CANADA or SWISS but when SANJAY gupta is in the driver’s seat you can expect ’’A stylish flick’’.The costumes are very good especially of SANJAY DUTT.
MUSIC (BOLE TO GAANA BHAJNA)
VISHAL-SHEKHAR have come up with ROCKING NUMBERS, ’’saaki saaki’’is the best song and it is pictured Brilliantly, And ’’ISHQ KABHIE KARIO NA’’ and ’’RAABA’’ are also Outstanding.But sanjay dutt fans will love ’’TEZ DHAR(sung by sanjay dutt)
