Mussoorie, a hill station is truly the queen of hills. In every nook and corner of this hill station you will find out colonialism. The town is clean and the weather is magnificent.
The main attraction of this hill town is kempti waterfall. There is rope way service to go closer to the waterfall. One needs to go by cab from the mall area to the waterfall.
We went there in October. Early morning the weather was clear but as the day progressed, fog started engulfing the town.
There is a place called Gun Hill. Rope way is plying and one can get a clear view of Dehradun city from Gun Hill in Mussoorie.
Camels Back road is studded with lush green forest. Nagdibba, Jharipani waterfall and Mussoorie lake are a few spots for sightseeing. Mussoorie Lake is only a small lake and it can be viewed from distant places as well.
There is a gurudwara very close to the mall. ATM centers are lined up one after another. The place is not cheap and At mall areas varieties of shops are lined up.
Anyone can go and go back to Dehradun. But it is worth staying there at least for a night.
