I am fond of travelling. So, I keep travelling to different places just to explore them. I had always heard that Mussoorie is called "The Queen of Hill Stations". I had visited many Hill Stations earlier and all were beautiful in their own way. So, I had this curiosity that why only Mussoorie is called so. So, I decided to explore it myself.
I left for Mussoorie on 2nd October 2015 with my wife and daughter at 5 am. I had not pre-booked. When I reached Delhi border, I found most of the Delhhites were leaving for tourist places because of 3 continuous holidays. I thought then I had made a big blunder by not having booked in advance.
Anyways, we decided to try our luck and so we proceeded towards Mussoorie. We reached Mussoorie at around 1 pm. We first decided to book a room. Luckily, we got a room in an average hotel. Mussoorie is quite expensive as compared to Manali, Shimla. After putting our luggage into the Hotel, we left for sightseeing to Dhanolti.
Dhanolti is really a beautiful place. It is at a higher altitude than Mussoorie. So, it is cooler also. The wind was chilling. We had not expected the weather to be so cold there. We went to Eco park there.
The next day, we went for sightseeing in Mussoorie. We saw Kampti fall, Mall road, Gun Hill, George Everest.The weather in Mussoorie was really mindblowing and unique in itself. The entire hill station was surrounded by clouds suddenly. We could not see even the mountain ranges beyond the clouds. The walk at Mall road gives you a very nice feeling.
The trip was really going very good. Suddenly, we realized that my wife’s pmbile was not in the car. I realized that I might by chance had dropped whie getting down from the car. So, things a bit awry there.
I would like to visit the place again and explore some new places. Howeevr, I must say
