We planned a trip to mussorie last week to get a relief from the scorching heat in lucknow. We reached dehradun and then took a taxi to mussorie.we were absolutely baffled by its wonderful mindblowing scenery.the lush green hills, the cool weather, the paranomic view of the himalayan ranges were absolutely great.
We stayed in a hotel that night and roamed around in the mall road which I think is the main shopping hub of mussorie.we purchased some great winter wears for the winter season as there were a wide collection of them.
In the morning we went by the cable car and had a wonderful view of the mussorie and I really felt as if I am on the seventh heaven on seeing its natural beauty.
We went to see the kempty falls which is a great attraction of mussorie.we also saw the lal tibba which is the highest peak of mussorie.there are also many temples located here.
Mussorie is also said to be the gateway to gangotri and yamunotri but since they were located at a much higher altitude we didnt go up there. Overall I loved mussorie like anything and I would definitely visit this place again.
