Sound quality is pretty good, although MP3 music doesn’t offer quite the same sound quality as the original CD. Unfortunately, the player won’t read CD-RW discs but it can play any video CDs you make. If you are considering purchasing a DVD player that offers more then go for a PlayStation 2.
